I was born in Trinidad many years ago and grew up there, not leaving until I was 20 years old. I"ve been married to the same woman (also from Trinidad) for more than 30 years. I have three grown children and they themselves also have children.
I have traveled extensively and enjoy meeting and talking to people from different cultures, even though the only language that I can speak with any fluency is English. Since leaving Trinidad, I have lived outside the USA for more than 10 years.
My last visit to Trinidad was in 05 and I had a great time liming with cousins and friends that I grew up with. I plan on vacationing in Trinidad later this year and this time bringing my children with me; they have never been to the birthplace of their parents.
I started reading this forum about a year ago and find the discussions very interesting, so much so that I felt compelled to become a member. I want to be able to add my two cents when I feel I can make a contribution.
