Arthritis Gout

I was told I have gout from a medical doctor. I am not sure if I believe the person or not. I have had the uric acid test and it came back as normal. I know gout has a tendency to strike those who are not hydrating enough. Ok this might be a little off but I am in the bathroom at least one every two hours. That is how much I drink in a day. I drink mostly water with some lemonade mixed in too. I make my lemonade from powder mix. I mix it light so I do not get the full amount of calories. That is one of the good things of having no taste. smile.gif

I guess I will have to wait and see if I get another flare up since they say that is how you can tell if you have gout or not. Especially if your very hydrated. I am hoping that I do not have it.

Goute is also a big result of a high fat diet. Too much red meat and cheese, increasing ones vegetable intake is a great way to combat it. So is regular exercise. Nasty bit it is.

Arthritis Gout

Well I do eat a lot of red meat but I try to limit the amount of fat intake in my diet. I do eat a lot of fruits and veggies so I have a balanced diet. I get good daily exercise and I am trying to lose weight to lessen any impact on my joints. I think if I do have Gout it is a mild case.

When your Uric acid is normal now yes it might have been high for a bit prior your diet change. I am guilty of that same issue but it is good now. My elbow told me to change my eating habits. Fish for me 4 time a week now.

Gout Arthritis

I changed my diet over two years ago. This was long before the doctor told me I had gout. I still feel I sprained my foot playing games with kids. I still am hoping that I do not have gout. If I do how ever I can deal with it like all other pains I deal with.

A guy at work here has it bad and he says it is nt a big deal unless he hurts something like stubbing his toe. I think you are likely right it is just a sprain.
