I have no doubts that this guy killed the cop, the way he resisted to authority it's almost a proof in itself that he was willing to do whatever it takes.
FONTANA - After conducting a series of physical tests on a SWAT officer's rifle, a firearms expert testified that only a person's finger pulling the trigger would have made the weapon fire on the day it struck and killed Rialto officer Sergio Carrera Jr. William Matty, a criminalist in the Department of Justice Crime Lab, explained Thursday that the AR-15 rifle that felled Carrera was later subjected to a series of "rough handling" tests to see if the weapon could have accidently fired. Jurors in the trial for Krist Antonio Wiggins, who faces murder charges in Carrera's death, saw physical and video demonstrations of the rifle being dropped, struck with a mallet, dry tased with a Taser S26, and rubbed against clothing to see if it would fire. "In all the testing we did, nothing made the gun go off except for pulling the trigger with a finger, the way it was intended," Matty testified. When Deputy Public Defender George Wright asked Matty if the trigger could have been pulled by another officer, he responded: "I have no opinion about who pulled the trigger."..
