This sort of thinking is the same as assuming that people who are concerned with vaccine safety are anti-vaxxers. This just simply is not true. Some people do think that marijuana is a more acceptable form of treatment for some ailments. As far as sleeping, no sleep can occur when a person is sedated. That includes beer, sleeping pills, marijuana, or any other sedative. A small dose of marijuana does not sedate a person effectively, so likely the article is over-inflating the issue.
