88th Academy Awards

The 88th Academy Awards has to be one of the most controversial of the rest. The issue surrounded racism and the lack of Blacks being chosen for major roles. Chris Rock, the host of the 88th Academy Awards, used humor and bluntness to address the issue. You could tell the crowd did not know how to act or react as racism dominated the opening. One media outlet reported an 8% drop in viewers for the 88th Academy Awards and many Black actors stayed home. What do you think, did Chris Rock go overboard with his antics?
