Video games are known to improve hand-eye co-ordination but can they help someone quit smoking or lose weight?

Therapy Game Video
I believe the new WII can help a person lose some weight as they play some of the games and moving about. Like tennis or bowling. Games for the WII are fun to play and from accounts told by co workers are quite a workout.
I think some games you play can lead to smoking as you play them and get stressed out. I know I have replaced four controllers because one on my sons gets soo stressed about games he ends up throwing the controller. He has had a few weeks here and there of not being able to play.
