We just downloaded a FREE browser that a caring grandfather created for his own grandchild who is severely autistic. It is very colorful and FULL of games, movies, puzzles, etc. I know our son Felipe will love it. I just wanted to pass the information to those parents who may want to give it a try:

I will pass the web site on to the carers parents at the special needs school where the little boy that I look after attends also, as 50% of the children attending have Autism.

Thanks for sharing this. I will pass it on to my brother who has a son and a stepson with autism. I think my young grandsons will enjoy it also, even though they are not autistic. I think the grandfather who developed this browser is really in-tune with the needs of his grandson.

This software is still BETA, so it is buggy, plus the idea of having CTRL+L right on the screen made our son, who is a computer whiz for his age, get back into the desktop easily. See my latest review for KidsRocket.

I recently installed the latest version of the ZAC Browser which they refer to as the "Zac Browser Gold" And it has way more features than the past versions. The only thing is you have to install Adobe AIR first before you can install the browser. Installing Adobe AIR is very simple, start here: Source 2
