Zudguard Introduction

Hi

I was invited to Dungeon Master a Dungeons & Dragons 5e play by post over on Facebook(The invitation). Having the time and the inclination I decided to accept.

In saying this I have only been playing Dungeons & Dragons since the start of the year. While I have also been Dungeon Mastering since then I still think I have a long way to go to really develop my skills.

I took this opportunity to Dungeon Master this game as it is somewhat different from my real time games. I can consider my reply, see how it looks, and only then do I need to post it. Rather than having to come up with something on the spot.

With a bit of luck I hope this game can be a solid number for the months to come, with a small group of regular posting people immersing themselves in my world.

I think that is about it.

Cheers

Zudguard

Zudguard, welcome to International Discussions and by extension Member Wars. You have the correct concept of Role-playing Games here and you should do well.

This Thread serves as your Intro and a Support Thread so if you ever have any questions do not be afraid to ask here. The first Thread you should look at is this one: Dungeon Master Tips. It should cover all aspects of Dungeon Mastering here.

The next, as Dungeon Master Tips would have instructed, is for you to open a new Thread in the Board, Card, & RPG Reviews with the name of your future Role-playing Game and what you propose.

Besides that, I would look around the Community see how Posts work and the general mindset of people, etc. Interestingly enough, we carry a lot of content on New Zealand too, should you wish to add your input into any of those Topics it will raise your Core Post count.

Introduction Zudguard

Hi Zudguard, did you mean for this post to be where it is or in answer to the character creation thread? Shall I move it for you?

Zudguard Introduction

I am trying to work out a curious issue with my latest post on my Dungeons & Dragons play by post game.

"...however their movements flow s and smoother than the hurried scurrying of the rats that caught your eyes."

This turns up. Notice the single 's' not seeming to make any sense. I edited this, or tried to, to return it to SLOWER, so that it reads this:

"...however their movements flow slow-er and smoother than the hurried scurrying of the rats that caught your eyes."

But it always changed back to the single 's'. Is this some kind of auto edit script changing something it shouldn't? (Or should for a reason I don't know) Apparently this post is under the same affliction. So you will probably see the single s again.

Thanks for having a look.

Zudguard my friend, that is an anomaly of the strangest kind I spent the better part of an hour searching through codes to see what is causing that and do not readily see anything. It even filters my Posts! Filters usually try to correct bad grammar or weed out excessive symbols / obscenities but it should not do anything with that word. I will look into it more. If you find more, please let me know.

international QUOTE (Zudguard)
I am trying to work out a curious issue...

I have found the cause of this and fixed it, you should not get any further problems using the word "slower". Should you find any other related issues please do report them. Thanks.
