Russia Travelers & Passports
In similar Tourism related Threads we review what it is like to visit Russia but what about when a foreigner from Russia, that is to say a traveler from Russia visits your country? How would you describe them and how do they look upon you and your people?
The other part of this Topic is the Russia ID / Passport, how secure is it and how much travel does it allow the owner? For instance, in some countries having a German passport can allow you to visit many other countries without the restrictions of visas, etc. Additionally, some countries are so desperate for tourists that you do not even need a passport to travel to them so long as you come from North America and some parts of Europe.
Lastly, will you be willing to give up your state / country's Passport in a swap for papers from Russia?
I would never exchange my passport for a Russian one. I can get around to more places around the world with less suspicion than if I had Russian papers.
As for Russians visiting my homeland I find them inquisitive but serious almost all of the time including in moments when they should be excited but that's just differences in culture.
