So I just saw the new information about aging, and it looks like I'm going to have to become a lot more active so my character doesn't age off and die on me. I'm still trying to get things situated with my finances but once I do I definitely plan on donating to the site.
Just wondering how much time in dormancy counts towards the character's aging process? Is it a couple of days, a week, a month?
I have started the script checking age and adding to it so dormant Characters will get notifications until their Character is dead. Once dead ROK II will eventually flush the Character out of the system if there is no action on the Player's part.
I have added an additional option for Event Submissions, please check here: ROK II Event Submissions.
FairMaiden, the system checks after a few days. In fact, ROK II is always checking on the Character I just add what it is specifically looking for when it deliberates the status of a Player.
Hello everyone, I'm curious about how I can still raise my character's power up without the brothel? You see, I can't afford to upgrade myself at this time but I need to upgrade my character's power after I create a new one so I'm not hitting like a little 5 year old. Can your armies aid you in combat as well? That's a question I hadn't thought to ask actually. Have a wonderful day and I look forward to hearing from you all soon, and I like this game actually, it's a cool concept. I like how it reads like a story but you're still taking your character on adventures to make him stronger. I look forward to your responses, and here's an idea for a feature for those who can't upgrade. How about a feature where you could bribe the people at the brothel with a good enough amount of gold, and they'll let you in. Another good way to work with would be for the player when they're setting up their profile and putting in their birthday, the system could detect if they were over 18, like I am, and they could be allowed into the brothel. I've read the fact that there's nothing pornographic inside the brothel, but it rather reads like a romantic novel, which is fine with me because if it were pornographic in nature, you'd be minus one player right at this moment. Have a wonderful day and I hope these suggestions are helpful.
Karate, thanks for the feedback. You are focusing a lot on gaining access to the Brothel, probably because of your Advisor or curiosity. I will like you think of it this way… if your Advisor didn't tell you about it would you know? You see the Brothel is an incentive for people to support the game but it is not an end all. Therefore, consider the Brothel a bonus, so can you win without a Bonus? Yes, you can, you will just need to take a different direction to achieve it. There is enough Skills, Magic and Weapons to enable you to create a powerful Character. This is a story you create.
Oh! Okay. That makes sense actually when you think about it. So I could still be a bodyguard, I'm just going to have to go about it in a different way raising my power up Etc. Sounds cool actually, and I'll keep plugging away here on the forums and earning points. I'm up to 13.65 right now, so a few more posts, and I'll be able to have my new character and really go to work here. That leads me to my next question. I'm noticing that next to each of the skills, it says mind, body soul. When I raise a skill up a notch from 1 to 2, for example, does this raise that particular attribute mind body or soul up a level as well? Or does that only happen once you've raised that skill all the way up to 10 which would make you an expert in that skill. Now I'm getting into this whole thing and I think I'm really going to enjoy it. Would it be a good idea for me to get into an apprenticeship? And I noticed that when I first started out my character, I had 260 plus turns, but every time I slept normally, I only would wind up with 64 or so turns. What happened? Do you need to sleep a lot to really save up on your turns? How does that all work. Have a wonderful day my friends and I look forward to hearing from you soon, and I sincerely thank you for all of your help.
