In relations you aren't able to have children so after marriage you wonder what to do with the family. *laugh*
Clans can be confusing at times and I'm not sure if its explained well enough. Do we need them or we don't? Is it like an option?
You will need both to be 'complete' but to what extent I will have to look at it. Relations are supposed to tie in with your Abode so there is some work to do there. I will look at both and make some announcements here when done.
Hello there everyone, karate here. I have two quick questions about my character whom I've recreated about 5 times now *laugh*. That's okay though because I now think I'm beginning to figure out what to do and what not to do. My adviser tells me to either join the paladin's guild or the ranger's guild, and I'd like to join the paladin guild. I know what my soul and level both have to be as well as my body, but I'm told that my aura has to be an aura of law. Can I raise my aura somehow? Or do I have to make that choice during creation. Also, I know that the brothel is where you learn both power and vigor, but since I'm not a paying member, are there any other locations where I might learn these abilities? I've already got one skill all the way up to 10, and that's fire tamer and I've got my reflexes up to 5 so I'm really doing well I think. Have a wonderful day and any sort of help you're able to give me would be greatly appreciated. I'm having lots of fun with Ruler of Kings II now that I'm beginning to figure everything out.
If your Character is dying all the time then take the time to carefully read all that is presented. Please see: Text Role-playing Games: Reading vs Comprehension.
Aura is explained in the Player's Manual. It is how your Character sees the world it is not something you change. You will need to select a Guild that suits your Character.
As Support already mentioned in your Introduction, you can only get certain things from specific places based on your Membership access and Character choices. If you are denied something the ROK II script usually tells you why and what to do about it if something can be done.
You know, I'm having lots of fun with Ruler of Kings II II. I accidentally killed my character for the very first time while on a quest but I think that I was dealing with a trap. So from now on if it says go for it or take no chances, I'm gonna say take no chances. [..] And I was doing so good with him having reached level 2. Although I am beginning to really figure things out which I'm happy about and once I get past this little hurtle and raise my body soul and mind back up to where they should be, I'll be okay again. Incidentally, while the apprenticeships are good for earning gold quickly, they will really hurt your stats, so what ever you do, don't do them too much. Just saying. It's also looking like I'm going to be a ranger since my aura isn't one of law but good. I'm really having lots of fun with the game and can't wait until I can get my character back alive again if I don't run out of time that is and see where he goes next.
Hello everyone. I have a quick question for rok 2. In the tavern where the challenges are held, is there a link that I can click on in order to participate in that particular challenge? Is there a way to find out what the next upcoming challenge is going to be so that I can determine whether or not I have the skills to participate in it? I know of course about the character chat, but it seems to speak mostly about the aftermath of challenges. Any sort of help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I'm working on bringing my character back to life after I killed him. I'm doing well with him though. Have a wonderful day and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
One of the wenches in the tavern chat tells you the challenge and just bellow that is a button called "Accept Challenge". Whomever you have as your advisor should tell you but on average I think its like every 5-6 hours that's why you don't see it all the time.
Karate, from reading some of your posts all I can say is slow down and take in the story of the game rather than click through everything because a lot of what you are asking is told to you in the game IF you are reading them you should not be having such a hard time playing.
