Okay, I have some questions before I can continue (I think), if someone can answer them? Thank you and please!
I'm looking for the introduction story of my parents, I guess its the same for everyone, but I cannot find it anymore. How do I look it up again?
The reason is because I can't remember every detail, and now I'm writing reflections of my mother and father which may or may not be accurate to my youth.
Second question, is there a way to cancel assignments?
I mistakenly took on to heal the stable's horse but I do not have the magick, nor plan I to get it. I didn't even want to take on the assignment, just wanted to see the description.
If there is no way to cancel, is there another way besides magick to complete it? I saw that I could train to tame wild animals to, somewhere.
Third, I'm level 0. It takes 1000 xp to get to level 1. How do I do this? I'm now mostly training, sometimes taking jobs and that's it. It's slow paced. If this is the point, then I get it and will continue, but maybe I'm missing something, a big assignment that you should do at level 0 perhaps?
Thanks to anyway answering these questions.
Have a nice day!
I understand, I won't play with two characters. And there's absolutely no pressure for the parents origins, I was mainly curious about why it was not available and I thought it would be fun to roleplay.
I read in a thread somewhere that people sometimes forgot their parents story line and said things that couldn't be true, per example "I will meet my father later" was an example in that thread.
That was all!
You are correct Vella. Gaining FP can be done in different manners though, you can easily look that up (I'm new to, don't know them all yet).
I have progress quite well the last day and have some notes and questions I wanted to share.
First and foremost, I had an event where someone offered me a [..] My only question, is this a bug?
Anyway. Being so graceful for this gift I started training my ass off to make the most of it. I made some skills 10, others 5 and started to specialize in my bow.
So I'm kicking some butt monsters and got cocky. First I got to level 2, and I could not enter the maze anymore. Here comes my ego in play.
I thought by myself, 'okay, I can defeat these monsters easily, lets to go the next challenge'. [..]
I got hit once, for 9 damage. I was terrified.
I didn't realize they would hit so hard! The maze monsters where to easy (Because I already was level 1 before I even entered) but this was a whole new game. I tried to run.. And tears in shock where in my eyes. The sentence "The monsters made it hard to run" got me real good. Next hit I was dead, with still 1300 turns on that 4k left, I was so sad.
One question here is, how did the monsters made it hard to run? I just leveled my run skill to 10. [Apparently] the level of the skill didn't decide on the [possibility] of running away?
Okay so now I'm angry, and in love. The great text flavor and different scenarios, events are an awesome part of this game. Thanks for creating it. I'm really enjoying writing original stuff for my character.
Next question; I stumbled upon the rewards for admitting monster lore. Is this free for all? What I deduced, is that you write the look, abilities and/or any other additions for a monster and admit it. Can I just start doing this and put in new ideas? (As long I keep the fantasy level fit for this world and the lore of other monsters of course).
Small detail; there are no ", or ' (Apostrophe) possible in our character's journal, is this with intent?
Is there an upside for using a bow? I see melee weapons with higher damage and also still able to wear a shield. Two handed weapons have even higher damage. Where does the benefit for a bow fall in? I have yet to see in a fight where its range was a plus. I'm not anxious about knowing, but if anyone can make a small comment I will discover that benefit yet or there is a real good upside to it then I will believe you and keep it.
These are my comments for now, again, great game. I'm really hooked.
Also, I hope I'm not double asking to much stuff. I tried to read this thread a bit to see if someone else already asked but since there is no search availability through threads (Only the boards, as far I can tell) I'm a little resistant reading 185 pages.
Thanks for any comments and replies.
