Seraphina, a lot of the "What to do" can be read in those tip boxes you see on the pages. You do the typical stuff you would in any Role-playing Game, buy armor, weapons, equipment and go find out where you can get some gold (Quests or assignments).
ROK II Trailers & Channel
Please have a look at this Thread: Video: Ruler Of Kings II Trailers, watch the two videos and give us some feedback there on it. More videos to come!
I just wanted to leave a quick comment to say how much I'm enjoying the game. The hour long wait after 5 minutes of game time can get tedious but otherwise the game is fantastic.
For the most part it is well written and it's interesting to learn from your mistakes without a standard guide to follow.
Please keep up the great work.
Thank you for the feedback.
There are plans to have more things to 'do' during sleep time, but for now you can make use of the Dream Catcher and join other Role-playing Games here as well.
There are guides all over ROK II (Tip boxes and ROK II: Helpful Tips), however to reinforce where a Player should be I am working on Advisors (New feature) at the moment. This will be especially helpful for new Players who get lost with all the options available once they reach the Town.
As for the text, please do submit improvements or changes to the text anywhere you see a submit button so that all parts can be written well. Remember, ROK II is built by Players for Players so whatever you think needs to be done please feel free to add the wording needed.
ROK II Advisors
This feature is now enabled. At this time it will largely facilitate new Characters rather than the older ones but that will change later. Your Advisor is an extension of your Character's story and should not be overlooked or taken for granted.
Something for consideration…
An idea just putting it out there: Maybe in the future for every Quest a Character plays they have to write what happens in one specific room of a dungeon or similar so other Quests are built at the same time.
Sounds great, I'll be testing the advisor as soon as my Char wakes.
He's currently trying to put together enough gold for a house and many of the assignments need a skill he doesn't have which is giving a good sense of pace to the story and setting goals for him.
One question I do have is for items like mapping and healing essentials. I can not for the life of me figure out how to use them, the don't seem to be addable to my belt for quick use on a quest or assignment but I guess it's pretty likely I've just overlooked something.
Town Crier Alerts
To help Players know when the Town Crier is trumpeting something new (Not personal messages, this is different) you will see a small button appear: "New!" in red next to the Town Crier button. You will only be able to see this when on the main Town Page or pressing the Town Crier button as you will have to be in or around the Town to know it. Once you read what he has to say the notification is gone until the next time there is an update.
