Why churches are more likely to fear refugees than to help them

Pastors believe scripture encourages helping refugees, but few congregations do such work. Ref. Source 1b.

Churches are generally wrapped up with so much of the 'same same' that they cannot see themselves doing something like this. Plus the amount of refugees would overwhelm and church body. The world's governments is letting this get out of control it should not have reached this stage.
