Making ones own beer or wine is ok but unless you are skilled do not distill. It is a tricky business distilling at least with straight fomentation the worst it just taste real bad. Never buy booze unless you know its source ie the official distilleries.

If you are going to drink wine, beer or even harder stuff and you do not know the source of it then you are taking a risk. I think if you need a drink that bad then maybe it is good that you chose to take yourself out of the gene pool.

For those making their own home brew make sure it is good before you give it to others.
