Comments: If someone tells you confidentially that she will kill herself on a date in the future what should you do? I don't know if she is really serious or not, maybe she is just looking for attention.

Either way if it did happen and you knew you did nothing how will you feel for the rest of your life? Go talk to this person quietly and with true passion for their well being. A cry for help should never be ignored just confirms their original issues and deepens them.

I read somewhere that when someone tells you they will commit suicide then you need to always take it seriously because it could eventually happen if the person doesn't seek help.
