2009 Diet Goals
Want to lose some weight or just improve health? What are your 2009 Diet Goals?
Well, it's too late for 2009, but I've made an effort to do something about keeping healthy in 2010.
Mainly because I've not been right health wise since my car crash, I decided to keep as healthy for the future as I can.
I can't diet, because the minute the word diet is mentioned, it makes me want to eat even more ,.
So instead, I've been watching what I'm eating, cut down how much I eat, and combined it with walking every day as fast as I can.
I've managed to lose nearly 2 stone in 3 and a half months, and I put it down to the fact that exercise has definitely gone hand in hand with cutting down the food, working so far at any rate.
Good job DianeC. I have been walking after work most everyday and I do not know if I am losing weight yet or not as I do not have a scale. I do find that I am able to walk at a greater speed than when I first started but other than that I do not see any changes. I know that the changes will take time because I did not get this big over night so I do not expect to lose it over night.
I have also been eating less because I am a firm believer that the less in put and a greater output will always equal lower weight. I think it is something my body has to get used to as I tone up and shape up. The big thing about my body is that I have some serious muscles and trying to lose weight is not easy as muscles weighs more than the fat. I just hope to trim down my mid section where all the fat is.
