I just saw the TLC: 650 Lbs Virgin documentary. It was really inspiring, and at the same time sad that this poor guy, David Smith had to go through abuse at a tender age. More proof we should not judge anyone for the way they look or their 'strange' behavior.

This show made me realize that often times I am unfair to other people, sometimes I see people who are overweight and in my mind I think they just love food and they are not interested in losing the weight, I tend to forget that often times there are sad stories behind these folks and it is not so easy for them to give up the comfort foods provides them, their friend.

I hope that TLC will have a follow up story on David Smith and the progress he has made after this first documentary. Also, I will like to know if he will be able to reduce his body to a cling like look known as "ripped" or will he have to do more plastic surgery because of the amount of extra skin he has after dropping from 650 pounds?

I didn't get to see it but 650 lbs is alot to lose. I see people struggle just to get a few pounds off. I wonder if you by chance have a photo of how he looks now?

I know that I am over weight ut I know that I will not have to face some of the things this guy will be facing or has faced. I wish him the best of luck to get where he wants to be and to be happy with how he looks after his long journey. I am happy that he is getting the extra help he needs.

He surely went through a lot you know what am I saying? I wonder though will he have scars for the rest of his life? I mean will he ever have a normal body without all that skin kind of falling down?
