Comments: Good question as it might better fall also into phobias. I guess it depends on why they are alone. Are you escaping the cruelty of another or hibernating with depression? I think there are many factors that could place it any where from normal to very sick.

I do not see anything wrong with being a loner so long as you know the benefits of socialization and can do so when needed.

Comments: That is right JB as long as you do socialize somewhere and are not afraid to talk to others. the internet is a form of socialization but not the same as face to face.
