Legendary Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee dies, newspaper reports
Ben Bradlee, the legendary editor of The Washington Post whose coverage of the Watergate scandals helped force the resignation of President Nixon in 1974, has died at age 93, according to the newspaper. Bradlee, who was portrayed by Jason Robards in the film All the President's Men, was a friend of the Kennedys, and along with wife Sally Quinn was part of one of Washington's most notable power couples.
