My goodness, what a MONSTER! I hope she does not lose her baby, what a terrible story. I hope he rots in jail, literally.
QUOTE HALIFAX - A man who allegedly stabbed, sexually assaulted, beat and kicked his pregnant girlfriend Monday night was served with arrest warrants this morning and is in Halifax County Jail under no bond. Investigation by Detective Doug Pilgreen resulted in Paul Joseph Faulkner, 30, of Colonial Drive, Roanoke Rapids, being charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping and two counts of communicating threats, Lt. Bobby Martin of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said. News of the beating unfolded when Deputy Charlie Jenkins was flagged down at Halifax Regional Medical Center by Faulkner's father, who told the deputy “his son had been beating on a female acquaintance all day long.” Jenkins discovered the woman was being treated for a stab wound and had been held against her will at knifepoint, Martin said this morning....
