Reports: Deadly attack at Ivory Coast resort

Bursts of gunfire sent vacationers scrambling for cover Sunday in the Ivory Coast beach resort of Grand-Bassam, and multiple media outlets reported that there were fatalities. At least 12 people are dead, including Europeans, according to Reuters. The U.S. Embassy said on Twitter that it was monitoring the situation. "No evidence that U.S. Citizens were targeted nor confirmed reports of any U.S citizens as harmed," the tweet said. Ref. USAToday.
