Is the subject of Muslims in Iowa taboo?

If you mentioned to a local that you are part of or support the Muslims in Iowa will that be taken with objection?

Is there fighting among different groups of Muslims in Iowa? For instance Iowa Sunni Muslims vs Shia Muslims, etc.

I have talked to many Muslims in the central Iowa area and have found them to be very open and willing to have a conversation with another belief to learn more about each other. I have no issues with Muslims and I know that they are welcome here in Iowa.
