No it is not. She is asking about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, also known as the Mormons. The group you are referring to was the FLDS (Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints) which is a group that broke away from the mainstream many decades ago with very few similarities remaining. None of which is archaic dress and underage marriage.

They don't necessarily call themselves Mormon. That is what the rest of the world calls them. Mormon is not a religion it is a nickname given to the LDS Church by those not of the same faith.
