Huh? Russia set to control half of U.S. Uranium output
It's so ridiculous it seems impossible to be true - but according to the Financial Times it is. Authorities have approved their purchase of 51% of Canada's Uranium One Inc, which owns mines in Wyoming. Seriously, what could possibly go wrong there? In case you are wondering: "Hey, we have all this government regulation, shouldn't there be some on our uranium?" There is. The Committee on Foreign Investments in the U.S. And the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission have apparently approved the deal. Sweet. Ref. Source 8
