Is anyone following the European Championship?
Its the big guns of Europe without a British team in sight!
Portugal and Spain look strong, Germany are favorites, Italy and France have been disappointing and Holland might surprise them all.
Or is it just a pay day for football agents?
Well, the first of the big guns are out.
Portugal lost 3-2 to Germany in the first quarter final.
A thrilling combination down the right led to Swinesteiger's opening goal.
Two more goals followed, with Portugal's late reply.
Croatia play Turkey, Holland play Russia and Spain play Italy in the other matches.
It's a brave man who will predict the outcome.
Croatia lost to Turkey in one close penalty shoot out.
The biggest surprize is that Holland lost to underdogs Russia 3-1 last night!
The final place in the semi-finals will be decided between Italy and Spain tonight.
It should be a good game, both sides have speed and flair, but the Italian goalkeeper is the best in the world.
It is good to see Spain make a come back and the Germans take a back seat for awhile.
