Comments: I had a question about the shoes Ramona was found in. There was testimony in the third trial that her body was found in sneakers. Where are her dress shoes? If she was going to a big party and was all dressed up she would not have worn sneakers and if after the party she wanted to drive home in more comfortable shoes, her dress shoes would have been found in the car.
Claire, I think I read that her husband (the accused) was "rushing" to hide the body that he put on her feet the wrong shoes, I believe her dress shoes were in the bedroom.

Comments: THE SHOES! I cannot believe the Prosecutor let that slip. When ladies take off heels to put on sneakers to drive the heels remain in the car.
So, if she, as her husband states, did not go home, the heels would be in the car.
I am not that smart .. I can't believe this was missed.

Comments: How did her brother happen upon her car? She hadn't even been missing for 24 hours at the time so why did he immediately conclude that her body would be in the trunk? And why would he have called 911 when he found her car and keep the operator on the line while he breaks the window and opens the trunk? Am I the only one who thought this was more than strange? The husband had no motive but what about the brother? With Mona dead and her husband in prison would the brother stand to gain? Seems the police didn't investigate this case at all, just assumed the husband was guilty.

Comments: Ramona's brother broke into her car because the police would not search for her until she was missing for 48(?) hrs. The brother knew where to look for her car because she parked it there to work at the IX Center the previous evening. In my opinion the husband is guilty guilty guilty. Sure there is the evidence but what I look at is the fact that he did not bother talking with police about her disappearance claiming that his children kept him updated. What about the anxiety and worry he should have been feeling ? Most spouses would drive the cops nuts with questions. He acted like Mr.Zen. He was having an affair prior to and after the murder. Motive for getting Ramona out of the picture. He redecorated his bedroom before the police could get in there for crime scene testing. Burned the headboard in the fireplace claiming that 'no one' will ever have sex where Ramona & I had sex. Yet in the next sentence he admits to having a mistress. Gimme a break.

Comments: Guess what, [In my opinion] husband is guilty, his daughter was lying for him and it will come out. I have been an expert interviewer for 20 yrs and her eyes did not look good to me. He probably told his daughter they had a fight and her struck her killing her accidentally. This would be acceptable than just plain murder. Even the jury said her memory was selective. Watch, something will happen.
