Hisashi Iwakuma

Hisashi Iwakuma of the Seattle Mariners has thrown a no-hitter in a 3-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. He struck out seven and walked three.

It is the fourth no-hitter this season and the first in the American League. Philadelphia's Cole Hamels no-hit the Chicago Cubs last month, and Washington's Max Scherzer and San Francisco's Chris Heston threw no-hitters in June. Ref. CNN
