Lawrence Phillips

Former NFL player found dead in prison

Former NFL running back Lawrence Phillips was found dead in his prison cell at Kern Valley State Prison yesterday. Officials said they suspect suicide. Philips, 40, who killed a cellmate, had been housed in a segregation cell since April 2013. Ref. Source 2h.
