International college students are less likely to experience violent crimes

International students attending universities in the United States, particularly females, may be less at risk for violent, non-sexual victimization than their domestic counterparts, due, in part, to their choices in lifestyles and activities, new research suggests. Ref. Source 7s.

I have a concern about studies like this. First of all it paints Americans as making wrong choices and making themselves open for predators. There aren't that many international students going around to make a proper study plus because they are in a foreign country their money might be limited for what they want to do.
