Jeffrey Williams, 20, has been arrested in the shooting of two police officers during last week's protests in Ferguson, Missouri, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Bob McCulloch said today. Williams is charged with two counts of first-degree assault, among other charges, and is being held on a cash-only $300,000 bond.
An officer from Webster Groves, a St. Louis suburb, was shot at the high point of his cheek, just under his right eye, officials said. A second officer, from the St. Louis County Police Department, was hit in the shoulder and the bullet came out the middle of his back. Both men were treated and released. Ref. CNN
