Civility may be at all-time low

The obnoxious cell phone user in the grocery store checkout line. The aggressive driver who cuts us off in traffic. The conniving co-worker who takes credit for our idea. There are more than enough jerks to go around. From bullying on the playground and in the workplace to abusing handicapped parking privileges to language packed with enough four-letter words it would make people at your granddad's Navy reunion blush. Yes, civility seems to be at an all-time low. Rudeness reigns in our stressed and impatient society.

Low All-time Be Civility

Yes civility is at a low and it is only going to get lower. I was at a movie this past weekend and for the first time in a R rated movie it showed full frontal nudity on a male. before this it was only in a x rated movie did one see full frontal nudity on a male. That just shows how far this place we call home has sunk into the cesspool. We are still sinking too.

I agree KNtoran it will sink lower yet. Who can be really surprised with this turn of events. We took the the thing that stand for good virtues and called them harassing statements. We took discipline and called it abuse and empowered our children to the point where many parents cower before them. How can any of this add up to any thing but degradation. Society has chose to ignore the advantage of respecting ones self and instead adores personal control over others and worships personal accumulation of stuff we really do not need. In all these ideas where does humility lie? The gutter as it is only for the weak and weak minded.

Low All-time Be Civility

Yes It all started with the death of common sense. No longer do we have common sense since it is degrading to those around us. With the rise of the all powerful political correctness we have no choice now but to be a only for me type of society. Now as we go down in a ever increasing spiral we can only see that we are getting the things we want and the heck with others.

Men tend to lose their civility when they are either desperate or just do not care anymore, It does not help when money is offered too like in the case of terrorist groups and drug cartels that use the lack of civility in some people to run their business.
