US Prayer Day

FNC is saying that Pres. Obama does not want to attend a public US Prayer Day ceremony, but he rather to pray in private instead of offending anyone. What are your thoughts on the US Prayer Day and do you think Obama is making the right step?

Due to the fact that we are to keep church and state separate I think he is doing the right thing. besides we do not want to see our president kneeling on a carpet facing to the east. Keeping some of our leaders prayers private is a must.

Excellent point, and one that I hadn't thought of before.

He claims that he is going back to the way things were before Bush, but Clinton supported and honored the day of prayer.

The day of prayer is not about Christianity, but about all religions.
