The 3.7-liter V-6 has enough punch to make most anything involving the driver's right foot interesting at worst, and lots of fun at best. The six-speed automatic shifted crisply and quickly, up or down, hard throttle or easy. The only dithering took place at low speed when the transmission couldn't decide between two gears, nor execute the choice with the snappy precision it did when kicked hard.
