Wealthy Rich Eritrea
The vast majority of Eritreans are fairly poor and wealth and power are concentrated in the hands of a very few in the favored class. Those with wealth also tend to be of the political class. The rest of the population is actually inducted into the military for a term of 18 months that actually last decades and often for life. While in the military they are forced to do whatever the government needs. Teachers teach where the government says, engineers work where the government says on projects it stipulates, etc. It's not a good place to be one of on the outside of the power structure.
