Mysql 5.7

There has been a new release of MySQL 5.7 which encourages users to upgrade from MySQL 5.6, however there have been some compatibility issues and I am wondering if anyone has encountered a lot of difficulty with old code an migration? If you have please share your experience here.

There were some table lengths that needed to be changed in the structure of the DB but other that I did not encounter any major problems.
