Here is the latest Domain Scam out there. I got this one recently telling me my domain is about to expire and to renew it I needed to click a link:
QUOTE The domain name "X" is about to expire 2009-10-05.
If you wish to continue using your domain name please click on the link below.
Click here to renew.

Once the payment has been completed the above mentioned domain name will automatically be renewed and a conformation will be sent.

I notice they try to use the same register date, but of course they make it out to be that it will expire just now.

Your Domain Is About To Expire Scam
A new domain scam that I've been seeing are false notifications that your domain is about to expire and you have to pay 5 times the cost of the domain to get it renewed. They make it look legit by doing a WHOIS lookup and then placing your info inside the Email. Of course the big fail is that they do not know the real expiry date nor your Register so they make a guess. Beware.
