I know that quite a few people within the Vegan community as well as outside the Vegan community, do not like Gary Yourofsky's method of activism. They are uncomfortable about the things he says. Having said that, he also has a lot of supporters who understand him and his message and who believe that in order to make a change with regards to the slaughtering and suffering of animals, one has to take some drastic measures starting with veganism.
What are your thoughts about Gary? I have been watching his videos since last year and his language is colorful but honest, I appreciate his candor.

Gary Yourofsky's methods fall in the category of extremism. While he may have legit points on certain things his activisim falls into the category of 'terrorism' in some countries. There are legal channels to go about saving animals where you don't have to physically break in and steal / destroy private property.
Blogger, what do you suggest? "May I beg your pardon, can you please, please stop abusing animals? Thank you so much". Sorry to break it down for you but it does not work! Gary's methods are controversial yes and the legal channels you are talking about are a joke, they don't work and the animals still suffering!
