About MMORPG & General Updates
As you will notice we have many MMORPGs here. These MMORPGs are turn based which means you are given a certain number of turns in which to perform an action and then have to wait for a period of time before you can return to the game and perform more actions.
Each one of our MMORPGs here tracks the amount of turns and how you use them. For instance you might have a total of 100 turns in the game. You might take 50 to explore, and 50 to do battle with an enemy and that uses up the 100 turns. Then after a period of time (each game tells you how long) you get back your turns gradually. As you can see the more often you visit the MMORPG the faster you will be able to use your turns. You can also donate within the game to get more turns faster.
Participation
To play you merely have to join (you don't even need an Email address) and begin building your armies and so forth. You will see other players join in and being to either attack your armies or ask to align with you for greater strength.
Updates
There are SPECIFIC Threads here for each one of our MMORPGs. You will find details about Game Play and Updates in each, however if something in general is done with all our MMORPGs you can look here for that Update.
Updating Each Games Turns
To lessen the strain on the server I have increased the amount of time it takes to update turns for all MMORPGs but have not yet said how much for each yet as that will take time, therefore if you see the time go buy and get a minus figure you know why.
MMORPGS Are No More
As you may have noticed from some of the Threads I am not running the MMORPGs anymore and gradually shutting down the sites. The Domains are up for sale if anyone is interested please Contact me. I will keep this Board as an Archive in the Member Wars section.
Text MMORPGs Are Back!
I am working on restoring the Text Based MMORPGs we used to have here. My current problem is finding a stable, secure, module driven game engine I can use so when I start to modify it I don't have to deal with many errors. The end result is to get it up and running FAST and not spend long hours on it since I already have much of the game info already and merely have to port it over.
I am currently experimenting with ezRPG and NWE systems and they each have their drawbacks as well as positive points.
Game Engine Found - Now The Tweaks Start
I have purchased a Game Engine that I feel will take out most of the hassle of having to start coding a game from scratch. The main problem I'm encountering is that the people involved have spent more time creating off shoot modules rather than making a strong membership interface system. Having been running online games for over a decade I know that there are some basic things that MUST be in place to meet certain situation, unfortunately these things are not in place so I have to work on them. Soon as that is completed I can then actually start to configure the game to my liking starting with Ruler of Kings. I will be looking for Players to test - please do get ready, I'm hoping I can have something substantial this week if my environment will allow me.
It Is Coming Along
I am getting this going despite being delayed. I have made the general design then I have to tweak somethings before I can opening it for testing. I am hoping to have something significant by this week.
