If that is true or not it is still a terrorist act, its just trying to decipher why he really did it. Maybe there was more than one reason but the 'support' of his wife is strange. Conjecture about meaning and intent.

He shot people.
Someone says they had a relationship with him.

The only thing that's real are all the dead people and their families who mourn over their loss. The FBI has only released a portion of the terrorist's 911 call, there is supposed to be lots more and at some point we may actually get to the truth.
