President Trump’s postmaster general halts mail changes Democrats warned would hinder November election. Congressional Democrats have called on Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to stop changes they said have slowed down mail delivery as states prepare to receive an unprecedented number of mail-in ballots during the November election. DeJoy said in a statement Tuesday the Postal Service is “ready today to handle whatever volume of election mail it receives this fall.” Ref. USAToday.
