Mradoric is ready to get this show on the road. Heading out into the unknown to meet exotic strange people in another part of the land can always be interesting.

Welcome to the group Delgar and Daishain. Great to have you two with us! Aeric is a great Dungeon Master. I know you two will enjoy the upcoming adventure. Delgar, your wizard will probably be received a little better than Sir Leo was *smile*.

I have been following the game for quite some time waiting for a chance, so I am looking forward to joining all of you in this next adventure. As for the reception we will have to wait and see I guess how I get introduced to the party. But thank you for the welcome.

Paul, I put that Zinna was at the rear because both her and Malek were listed as middle rear which is the most rear position anyone has on their character sheet. I didn't feel that bringing up the rear was a good spot for a squishy wizard. I saw afterwards that Aeric wants you to list our marching order. Feel free to change her to somewhere else if you have other ideas.

Just wanted to point out that my ranger perk allows my entire group to travel through my favored terrain (Forests) unhindered. At what length you, Dungeon Master, would like to take that is up to you.

Yeah, I shifted Leo's position to Head for now. Originally had him marching to Roland's right so they could work together as a line. But with him gone…

Okay, marching order. Carrick obviously scouting ahead a bit, and having Leo in the lead of the main column works for me. And since Father Marcellus is Leo's primary concern, he will be next in line. I will put Corren next so he is almost in the very middle, to communicate with both ends of the column. Malek next, followed by Zinna and Mardoric at the rear. That is because the monk is sturdy, and can cover ground fast if he is needed elsewhere.

Also, since he is worried the group may need to make a hasty retreat at some point, despite the brush, he would have insisted on horses. I can see during the thickest brush them leading the horses while afoot, but once it opened up a bit they would mount up to make better time. I hope that is coherent to the Dungeon Master.

The wise says...

Hi everyone thanks for welcoming me into the game basically I was thinking of this for the reason my character is in clear creek. Its more in my history on my character sheet.
Malek was born in the northern city of Khoren a walled city that was heavily involved in the war with the former Elven Kingdom of E'ranlean. His father Jerin worked for a sage helping with research and his mother Celia was a scribe, so he learned the ways of ink and paper early on in life. His parents saw some potential in him with the magical arts as Malek would dabble with his fathers research and he quickly picked up the art form.
When he came of age he was sent to study at the wizards college in Voscandi under the watchful eye of the Akashic Order. He spent many years there acquiring more and more knowledge but always with the order watching, he yearned for the day he would be able to set out on his own to do his own research. He became a favorite student of the headmaster Orlen The Grand Magister, helping him with much of his research in the area of divination. This didn't make Malek a lot of friends as it was seen as favoritism and also his general attitude and how he treated others didn't help. In the end it payed off as Orlen recommended him to join the ranks of the Arcane Order Of Knowledge, never before had someone so young and of little experience been allowed to join the order. With his recent graduation from the college and his acceptance into the order he has been tasked with various jobs that suited his talents manly in translation and research. There has been rumors of sending parties into the Scolandi wilds to investigate the area, Malek would love to see what new knowledge may lie in wait he has volunteered many times but he has had no luck so far mainly due to his lack of experience in field. Then finally Malek received the news he had been waiting to hear for all so long. The church was sending an emissary to this village called Clear Creek intent on exploring and making contact with the Indigenous people of the Scolandi Wilds. The Order is very interested in this mostly undiscovered area to see what knowledge can be found, so using some of the Order's contacts they were able to get the local reeve to make room in the scouting party for Malek and now he finds himself in Clear Creek ready to adventure into the wilds.

Thats kinda of what I was thinking for why my character is there the order basically wants a representative in the area so malek would set up shop in the town as a sage or scribe in his down time. Let me know if that works then ill post in the main thread.
