Look at it as a great role play and character development opportunity, a bard with PTSD stemming from these horrific experiences; you could even throw some Stockholm Syndrome in there, it's a role playing gold mine! Someone get the Dungeon Master a stogie because I love it when a plan comes together… see what I did there? Little 80's television reference. KNtoran, Daishain… who's with me? .
It is truly a role playing gold mine. You are right about that. I look forward to playing it out. She will suffer ill effects from this long term. Corren and the others get to deal with it. Poor them. I didn't get your reference. Before my time *smile*.
I assume our Dungeon Master is chomping on that cigar with a [crap]-eatin' grin on his face. "Nice work, Hannibal!" It is a good reference (The A-Team), but it is almost AFTER my time… I doubt anyone else in this group remembers watching Neil Armstrong walk on the moon…
You said the goblins had short bows. About how many arrows that are in good condition can Carrick salvage, if any are worth salvaging?
Also, is Jae'dyn present or did he already evacuate?
Someone apparently needs to teach Adsila the difference between "I respect your people and want to promote peace between you and ours" and "Sure, I'd be happy to give up my young life in order to become living fertilizer for your soul sucking abomination of a tree."
One would think that not a difficult distinction to grasp.

I have no comment about the 80's television reference I was all over the place and some areas did not have tv let alone English tv I did watch all the moon landings and the space race.
I think our bard is going to wake with some interesting night terrors for the long term and short term.
Don't know if introducing duegar (Or what ever you may have them be in your campaign) is a problem, but that's really the best way I could explain Carrick having knowledge of domesticated spiders.
