Aeric, I mentioned using a healing kit on Corren. I have never used one in your game before. Do I need the healer feat to be able to heal with the kits per the rules or do you have some house rule regarding that?

From what I understand a healer's kit in this edition does nothing more than stabilize a character without having to make a Widsom (Medicine) check; it does not restore hit points unless you do have the Healer feat in which case it can restore 1d6+4hp. You were given some poultices though if I recall when you were in Durmista that heal 1d4+1hp, but these can only be used once every short rest to gain that benefit.

I will allow the players to roll the perception checks and trust them not to metagame, although you won't know the DC and a high dice roll won't matter if there is nothing there to perceive in the first place so that will help in this regard somewhat.

I believe Zinna will need to maintain line of sight with the mage hand that she cast; also I don't think that mage hand would be very adept at disarming traps since I don't think it would be very good at complex motor skills, especially given that Zinna cannot really "Feel" through it to allow her to gauge pressure or resistance that this thread may be giving. That being the case I will allow her to roll a dexterity check at disadvantage. You can make that roll here in the support thread and I will apply the results in the main thread.

I also think given her class and background as an entertainer along with the fact that she does not have, and is not proficient with, a set of thieves tools she would not gain the benefit of adding her proficiency bonus to the roll unless you can articulate a valid reason for her to be proficient at disabling these kinds of traps.

That is fair enough Aeric. She wouldn't have proficiency with disarming traps. I assume her jack of all trades benefit would still count though since it applies to all skills that she isn't proficient in. She will peek her head around the corner while doing this.
