"Then we'll just have to trust in the M... Um, well, we will have to trust in the abilities of our companions."
"Zinna, while we have a moment alone. Those green blasts. They did not come from your talents as a songweird did they? No, wait, never mind, don't answer. I don't want to be sure about. I'd rather not have to lie. Just… be careful. She is not the Destroyer, far from it, but I think you know how few would see it that way."
Out of Character: It isn't specified, but I assume that at least the basics of recognizing the stigmatized warlock magic would be taught to paladins. Leo may not be the best or brightest academic student, but I figure he was bound to remember something eventually with those spells right in front of his face.
I should note that his tone is concerned and resigned rather than accusatory or anything of that nature.
Zinna grimaces. " I... Yes that is for the best. There is no need for you to be placed in a unfair situation. If we manage to survive our subterranean adventure then I get to look forward to speaking with an Imperial Inquisitor. They will probably question all of you as well. The less you know the better for you. "
Leo seems to be struggling with something, he opens and closes his mouth. Eventually, he sighs and says. "I do not know what I can do to help if it comes to that, but I will seek a way. There are those who have earned the inquisitors'... Attention, but I cannot believe you are among them. Standing by and doing nothing would be an affront to everything I am."
"That said, I do worry about you Zinna, hate of the Iliosani drives you more than almost anything else these days. They have certainly earned that reaction, but obsessive revenge can consume a soul, and leave behind none of the brightness it once held, even after the object of that revenge is destroyed."
Studying Leo with her green eyes she waits to speak. " I appreciate your concern for me. Do nothing to violate your oaths. I know how important they are to you. Hopefully If we return as conquering heroes they won't question us much. "
" I know where you are coming from SIr Leo. Ever since I was held captive by those animals I have been afraid. A coward hiding under her covers. I'm not going to jump at shadows anymore or wonder when they will capture me. My hate for the Iliosani is very strong. It makes me strong instead of a coward. I will see them all dead. Surely it can't be wrong to hate that which is evil? The Iliosani are clearly evil now. "
Leo adopts a different tone of voice, clearly imitating someone else, "The magic of the warlock is clearly a matter of nonredeemable evil, stemming as it does from a heinous pact with the Destroyer. Such individuals have forfeited the Maker's light, and so should be feared and hated as much as any demon."
The paladin grimaces and continues in his own voice, "An old instructor of mine. That lecture went on for quite some time. If I thought like he did, we wouldn't be talking at all. Life is full of exceptions, and hate blinds you to them. Cling to it long enough, and it also blinds you to the good things in your life. How long has it been since you sung for the simple joy of it, or paid more heed to the life you are building with Corren than the death you plan for these elves?"

As soon as Corren steps onto the dais that holds the warrior the warrior there is an ear splitting sound like a siren or piercing whistle and a series of arcane runes on the sarcophagus flash red and begin to glow. The two statues flanking the warrior come to life and begin to move. The eyes of the statues glow a deep red as they fix their sights onto Corren.
