Zinna hears Leo suggest using mage hand to open the door. She notices Corren going over to the door and checking it out. The redhead shrugs at Sir Leo as much as she can while helping Celodhil stand. " Celodhil, don't worry. You will be full strength soon. Did you manage to slay Oomigig? "
Celodhil groans "No Zinnathrya" he says weakly "I tried to intervene with him and Carrick but some of his orcs engaged me. I killed them but as I turned I saw Carrick fall and then Oomigig struck me with the javelin. Oomigig and his orcs were victorious against the Illiosani defenders. But it was a costly victory and he only had a handful of warriors left so he withdrew. There is no telling whether he plans on returning and if so, when."
Corren finds that the door is not locked and opens readily. He cracks the door open carefully watching for any escaping gas but sees none. After a few moments it become evident that the gas has dissipated. The large ruby gem lies on the floor, it looks as though it has rolled over near the pedestal in the middle of the chamber that holds the bronze bowl.
Zinna looks down as she hears of how the dwarf perished. "Poor Carrick. There was no need to fight Oomigig. Not now anyways. We could have used his help. May his soul be at peace. " Getting closer to the door she sees the gem again. " There it is. That was worth being gassed. It looks very valuable. We do need more funds. " Zinna has a grin upon her face.
"You don't… ? Its a gemstone Grohg, a ruby. If you see something else like it, let us know before trying to touch it. The builders of this place had a trap on this one, the room filled with poison when we tried to remove it before."
"Speaking of which, lets not touch anything else in there, just retrieve it and we'll move on."
Zinna smiles. She gets Celodhil propped up against a wall. The bard strides in quickly and picks the gem up. She holds it up to the light admiring it for a moment then stows it in her bag. The bard walks out of the room and gets ready to assist Celodhil forward. " I'm ready when everyone else is. We have had enough fun here. Let's go elsewhere. "
Out of Character: : Corren might upset Zinna by getting her name mixed up with some strange woman *wink*.
