Zinna follows after the others. She replies to Sir Leo. " No, he never mentioned that at all that I'm aware of. " She walks along a little ways further and speaks again somewhat hesitantly. " This might just be me worrying but… shouldn't we be marking our path some way? That way we can make sure we aren't lost. Who knows where all these catacombs run to. I would hate to be lost forever in here. " She shivers.
About twenty feet down the southern corridor there is a rusted iron door on the left wall and another door approximately ten feet further down on the opposite wall. You can see that there are basically three doors on each wall following this pattern spaced about ten feet apart. All of the doors appear to be made of iron and have small rectangular view ports.that appear to be covered by small steel sliding doors that can be opened from the corridor. The corridor looks to extend for about seventy feet or more from the intersection with the east/west corridor and expands into darkness.
Walking through these corridors Zinna would likely note that none of these surroundings are familiar. Where she had been detained in a large cavern-like complex these are definitely crafted corridors… it's a shame Carrick isn't here as being a dwarf he may have some insight on the craftsmanship.
Corren moves to the first door and examines it for traps, then tries opening the sliding panel in the door. He also keeps his eyes open for a key on a hook somewhere, recalling how the jail in Clear Creek has its key kept nearby for whomever is on duty…
Out of Character: : I will roll several investigation rolls, one for each door.
Though a couple of the sliding panels stick and must be forced open, Corren is able to open all of them eventually and peer inside. Each appears to be a simple 10' X 10' cell. Each cell contains some form of skeletal remains, obviously humanoid though you're unable to discern their race without getting closer. Aside from the skeletal remains the cells appear to be empty. As Corren comes to the final door he can see that the corridor opens up into a chamber about 30' X 30' there is a worn stone table near the far wall along with a stone chair. Hanging on the wall is a small iron hoop that holds a set of three keys.
As Corren nears the chamber entrance something catches his eye; the floor at the entrance and in a patch that extends several feet into the chamber has a yellowish tint to it. He notices this just before he puts his foot down onto a patch of some sort of mold that covers the floor.
