Most people I know built it up little by little and what made it their dream home is not that it was luxurious but it was theirs. To own your home and be comfortable in it is a dream of itself.

Home Dream Buying
My dream home would be somewhere far from all the noise of suburban living. I would have to live on at least 4 acres and my house would have to be in the center of it so it was from the neighbors. I like having neighbors but I don't need to hear them talking or their music.

The woman that harassed the people because she was out bid for her dream home is a nut case. Let's say her harassment did work and they left because of it would it still have been her dream house? If you're that vindictive then probably it would be.
