Ewgene had been sitting in the bar waiting to meet some men of arms. After speaking to a few Kalfie appeared. Not looking in the best of spirits but smelling better after a good cleaning back at Sophia's farm. They exchanged pleasantries soon after Thomas appeared.
Feeling the conversation might get a bit more personal then first hoped Kalfie retires to a table to which he is followed by Thomas. After ta some brief words kalfie felt no need to move. Having ordered another round the magic user joined much to the warriors dismay.
Sitting relatively quiet the group is soon jo9ined by a familiar face to Kalfie the lass that had helped clean the farm of wolves. After a brief discussion she was informed of Beowolf ill fate and of Kalfie intention to return south. The group decided they would be wiling to join him.
Still enjoying the ale Porter enters the bar and decides best to sit with this group then on his own at the bar though no warrior invented him.
Here the table is now one chair from being filled and the ale is flowing much to every one delight is is good ale not bog water like so many places.
Kalfie lets the group know he is thinking on a trip to the next village to see if he can find out more on this death mouth's inhabitants and to find more men at arms.
(assume top of map is north)
The group is sitting at the table second north of the main door opposite the end of the bar in area 6.
Sitting back towards the wall Kalfie is taking in most of what lies in front towards the bar counter as well as who walks in.
We are spread evenly around the table Daphne and Thomas are at either side of Kalfie and the rest spread around the remainder.
They are taking n the surrounding and are noting who is sitting at what able and ponder if the stairs are leading to public rooms or rooms for the night.
The general location of office rooms is sought as well as where the kitchen might be or any other servant type door.
Having been in a inn before they know to note all possible paths of exit.
Kalfie who is seeking men at arms is paying close attention to any who might qualify, along with any who maybe a spy from the passage. Some gentle questioning would be a treat for him this night.
At some point members of the group investigated the crates near the fire place and walk around so as to see what is in the unknown room in hopes of knowing all entrance points or rather exit. The windows are also noted as to whether a warrior can maneuver though one if need be.
Ewgene decides to check out the upstairs a bit closer and walks past the hooded man, in the process of getting there. Noting his reaction she tries to catch his eye on the way back. After all is it not the feminine charm that tames the beast? She thinks to herself.
The group orders food as many are feeling that gnawing hunger. Those who can afford it order food and ale. Those who only can afford food do so as well.
Kalfie keeps an eye out for Ewgene as well as he trust the hooded man little. After all why does a man hide his face but for guilt or shame.

Unable to see beneath the strangers hood, Egwene continues up the stairs. At the inquiry of the bar wench, Egwene responds,
"I was looking for a place a lady could freshen up. The roads are dusty and the air a bit stifling."
All but Portor have gold and buy food and ale. Kalfie feeling sorry for him whispers to the waitress he will cover Portor's costs.
Kalfie looks to see how Egwene is fairing.
Not wanting to offend the bar wench who may serve well to be an ally, (but to herself is offended at the harlots insinuation)
Egwene responds, "Eh, I'll not be wanting to tread on your territory. *smiles* Perhaps I can find a spigot or well out back with some fresh water. But first I suppose I will have a bite."
With another glance at the stranger to see if she catches his eye, Egwene turns to go back to the table, assuming the upstairs is "sleeping" quarters and who knows what else. She pauses long enough to detect any movement from the stranger.
Meanwhile ....
The rest of the group is watching this and starting to enjoy the food and ale again. The group also keep an eye on the stranger to see what kind of response is given to this episode.
Kalfie motions the serving wench over and asks for an ale. Once it is brought Kalfie takes it to the hooded stranger in the corner.
*Kalfie passes her enough to cover the ale.*
Kalfie places the ale before the stranger and tries to strike up a conversation. He even comments on the rudeness of the serving wench.
The rest also partake in another round of ale, and seem to be enjoying their company.
