Is Rowing in District of Columbia popular? What facilities are available for District of Columbia Rowers that allows enthusiasts to practice Rowing? Is the sport developed or unknown? Even if it is not done locally, who are the most well known District of Columbia Rowers?

Rowing Columbia District
As small as DC is one would rowing an odd topic to pick, but there are teams on the Potomac almost every day training. You find all manner of people rowing on the Potomac, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, as well as sweep and sculling boats.
Rather off topic, but...
Regarding paddle boards, that is a heck of a workout if you haven't ever tried it. It works every muscle, including your abs.
